What is Cheese LAN?
We are a Green Bay, WI based group of gamers who have attended & organized well over 80 LANs. Our goal is to bring gamers together, face-to-face, to make new friends and enjoy a fun social environment.
Cheese LAN began in 2014, comprising a number of former GBLAN attendees and admins. The BIG Cheese LAN is our first "BIG" LAN Party, continuing the tradition of fragging and bagging, on a large scale.
Over the years, we've found that we make our own fun more often than not, and affordable or free games from smaller development teams have brought the most laughs. Our LANs are typically comprised of a few new AAA titles, and a bunch these of affordable or free games, which lets everyone get in on the fun.

Nexion
Organizer | Cat-Herder
"The guy has five chinchillas and never sleeps"
Overly ambitious with a passion for keeping the LAN community alive, Justin is the ringleader and carrier of the torch for Cheese LAN. He does a lot of the setup, organizing, sponsorship contact, and makes sure everyone has a great time. Most likely to be found playing some weird point-and-click adventure game.

"Wasn't that guy called 'Boston Baked'?"
President Rex
Help desk | Tournaments
"Neither the president nor a T-Rex"
Fluent in German and sarcasm, Matthias (Matt) is a walking encyclopedia. He has been in the LAN community just as much as the rest of the team, but is the only one we've never heard rage while gaming. You'll most likely find him playing a simulation or management game with more complexity than the average gamer has patience for.
Butane
Help desk | heavy-lifting
"Everyone loves his meat"
A GBLAN legend who has attended and assisted with administrative duties at just about every GBLAN/KI LAN through the decades. Chuck is always willing to do the heavy lifting, admin work, or run cables. He'll almost always show up with some Grade A meat.
MonsterBoxx
Help desk | IT Support
"Fact is...."
One of the original GBLAN admins, Eric is the community extrovert and ready to help you resolve connectivity issues. He has provided networking configuration and knowledge since the beginning of GBLAN/H4x0r LAN in the eartly 2000's. He's renowned for ServerBoxx, which was the LAN hub for games, music, and whatever else, for over a decade. You'll usually find him in a group conversation about some nonsense (in the best way possible).
